Some new cars and image editing stuff.

It has been a while since my last post, here is what i have been up to.
I revised my F2012 from preseason version into Malaysian GP version.

It has completely new front endplates, added strakes on rear end plate, reworked bodywork and new five elements front wing :-)

I have been slowly working on this one to. It has over 26 000 polys without driver and t-cam, and hopefully I’ll start UV mapping on it soon.

This years cars

Some say they are ugly, I don’t necessarily agree.
And I find this one most interesting. Once you are able too look past the nose (which isn’t that bad either) you see it’s beauty.
Anyway I have been mapping some cars and just had to model this one for a change.

 

P.S. That pullrod suspension look awesome imao. And yeah it is Ferrari F2012.

FW24

Next one in line, 2002 Williams. This one was not to hard to model.
Again lack of reference images made it harder to work on details but I’m very happy how it turned out.
I should probably UV map couple of cars before I start modeling a new one right?
We’ll see whether I can or can’t resist that minardi.

Once more for Eric and Vesa

This one is now finished to. I made changes to nose, side pods, front wing, suspensions, barge boards. Thanks Eric for images they have been huge help.

One more done.

Well modelling part, that is.

I know the cockpit interior is missing. I am going to reuse the one made for EJ12, as I don’t really have time nor resources to make individual ones for each car. speaking of which, hm…Which car should I do next? i would love to make McLaren, but Williams looked nice back then as did Minardi, Jaguar had some interesting curves and BAR shouldn’t be to hard to texture.
